Who are CLS?
City of London Sinfonia (CLS) is a chamber orchestra. A chamber orchestra is smaller than a full-size symphony orchestra and there are 46 musicians who play for CLS.
The orchestra performs about 100 concerts a year. CLS performs concerts in London and all over the UK. They even go all over the world to perform!
We have performed in all sorts of places, to all sorts of people...we have played to princes and princesses in palaces and castles and even in a ruined amphitheatre and a football stadium.
As well as concerts, CLS works hard taking music into schools, hospitals and communities.
The orchestra has made lots of CD recordings, which you can buy in the shops or on iTunes.
