Timpani

On CLS career to date

Richard Hickox asked me in person to join the Orchestra at a CLS concert I'd been booked for at the church of St. Mary the Great, Warwick. The timpani chair was just about to become vacant. My career has been long and varied and extremely satisfying. It has also taken me to some unlikely places, from underground caves in The Canaries to Korolevu Beach in Fiji and from inside prison to the towpath of the Leeds-Liverpool Canal!

On most memorable concert

Yes, many..... Unfortunately all for the wrong reasons!

On relaxation

Sounds corny, but my work is my hobby. What very precious free time I do have I tend to devote to DIY projects.
