Plaisterers' Hall, the largest and one of the finest livery halls in London, is the perfect setting for our concert of Mozart's very first Symphony and the famously beautiful Clarinet Concerto - and works by two of Australia's most popular composers: Brett Dean's moving tribute to the late Richard Hickox, founder-conductor of CLS, commissioned by the Festival and receiving its world première, and Elena Kats-Chernin's Ornamental Air, an evocative piece specially written for Michael Collins and the orchestra.
