Concert Diary

City of London Sinfonia is extremely proud of its Regional Concert Series, and has built up a tremendous following of loyal audience members in its regular concert venues. CLS prides itself on the attractions it offers through enhanced features that add value and enjoyment to the concert experience.

In King's Lynn, High Wycombe and Chatham we offer both a pre-concert event as well as a post-concert Encore.

The Pre-Concert Talk
Our pre-concert talks and events at 6.45 pm provide an illuminating insight into the background of the music being performed, or the performers themselves. We are delighted that so many of our soloists are able to perform in these Q & A sessions.

The Encore
These are extremely popular events! At every concert, several of the orchestra's key members congregate in the venue bar following the concert, and perform an informal selection lighter classics, to which singing and dancing is encouraged!

CLS offers a generous Subscription Package in High Wycombe and Chatham which adds value and special perks to make your concert experience enjoyable and unique.

What are the benefits of booking a subscription?

If you subscribe to 3 concerts at the same time you will receive discounts on ticket prices (varies per venue) as well as the following:

• A free CD
• An invitation to an Open Rehearsal - your chance to view the orchestra rehearsing in a fly-on-the-wall setting
• A free concert programme at every concert

 
Subscription couldn’t be easier…

Simply book at the Box Office as you would normally, stating which subscription package you would like. Your concert tickets, CD and programme will either be sent in the post or available for collection on the evening of the concert, depending on which venue you book with. Nearer the time, you will also receive an invitation to an open rehearsal and information on priority booking for the following season. And as always, CLS staff will be present at every concert to answer any questions you might have.
