City of London Sinfonia is a registered charity that relies on the goodwill and generosity of its supporters in order to cover its core costs and innovative community and education work. We raise all our income through a combination of ticket sales, individual donations, our Friends' scheme, legacies, performance fees, charitable trusts and foundations and corporate supporters. We rely heavily on the generous giving and loyalty of our supporters world-wide to help make our programme of activities possible.
There are many ways in which to give:
CLS Friends receive priority information on all CLS concerts and the chance to gain access to and be active in the life of the Orchestra, in return for an annual subscription. There are four levels of membership.
Corporate Supporters are vital to the continuing development and success of the Orchestra. We thrive on building partnerships with companies who share our commitment to excellence, innovation, creativity and passion.
Trusts and foundations contribute greatly to the wellbeing of the Orchestra and in particular to the strength and breadth of our Meet the Music programme. We regularly receive grants for outreach projects, recordings, community activities and also simply to support our core costs.
Legacies and planned giving allow individuals to make a lasting impact on the Orchestra. Many people cannot afford to give large charitable donations in their lifetime but can make a significant and far-reaching contribution in their will. Those who remember us in their will make a lasting contribution to our work and will ensure others continue to enjoy and learn about music.
