Individual donors are vital to the long-term security of City of London Sinfonia and enable us to plan with confidence, imagination and ambition.

The loyal support we receive from our Friends makes a huge difference to the scale of our activities, helping us to achieve the highest possible standards and reach the widest possible audience both in the concert hall and in the wider community.

Friends of CLS offers a friendly and sociable experience, allowing individuals real and active involvement in the life of the Orchestra. Friends are invited to an annual reception, have opportunities to meet the players and are sent regular information about the activities of the Orchestra.

FRIEND - from £50 per annum

  • Free CD of a City of London Sinfonia recording

  • Invitations to open rehearsals and talks

  • Opportunities to meet the musicians

  • Regular updates on CLS activities

  • Invitation to an annual Friends reception


SILVER FRIEND - from £125 per annum
All the above benefits, plus:

  • Name in City of London Sinfonia programmes + on website

  • Free programme at CLS concerts

  • One pair of top price tickets for a CLS concert of your choice


GOLD FRIEND - from £450 per annum
All Friend and Silver Friend level benefits, plus:

  • An additional pair of top price tickets for a CLS concert of your choice


BENEFACTOR - from £1,000 per annum
All Friend, Gold & Silver Friend level benefits, plus:

  • Endowment of Principal Chair or credited support of the Orchestra's Meet the Music Programme

Membership can be registered in two names if requested.

Gift Aid

We are a registered charity. You can Gift Aid the donation part of your membership by completing a Gift Aid Declaration Form. This allows the Orchestra to recover basic tax from the Inland Revenue at the rate of 25p from every £1 that you give. Once you have completed a Gift Aid Declaration Form, CLS can reclaim this amount on any support that you give now and in the future, so long as you remain a UK tax-payer.
